Lavender Lemonade for Mother’s Day

But even superheroes like you sometimes need a break – that’s why we want to treat you this mother’s day breakfast not only with your favorite muesli but also with this relaxing lavender lemonade.

Lavender is a real miracle cure for your everyday stress. The combination of its mild herbal sedative, analgesic and mood stabilizing effects make it ideal to help you relax when family life can get chaotic. Made into lemonade it tastes delicious and goes great with your favorite muesli.

 

Recipe: Lavender Lemonade

Ingredients:

½ cup lime juice

½ cup lemon juice

½ cup raw honey

¼ cup fresh mint

½ cup still water

1 ½ teaspoons lavender

3 cups sparkling water

 

Instructions:

  1. Combine the honey, the fresh mint and the still water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from the heat and add the lavender. Cover and let stand for 1 hour.
  2. Strain the lavender and mint. Stir in the lime and lemon juice as well as the sparkling water.
